Sunbows Creative is the umbrella for my design, branding, and narrative work across academic, cultural, and community contexts. It holds everything from institutional branding and UX design to independent publishing, editorial imagery, and long-term collaborations. Through Sunbows, I’ve shaped visual identities, design systems, and storytelling frameworks for universities, research centers, nonprofits, and private clients. This includes academic branding and communications work for the Center for Latin American and Iberian Studies, the Behner Stiefel Center for Brazilian Studies, Yale Whitney Humanities Center, as well as community-based organizations and independent projects like Brave Nature School. My approach treats design as a form of interpretation rather than decoration. I translate complex ideas, research, and values into visual systems that feel grounded, coherent, and human. I work with typography, layout, UX, collage, and image manipulation, often incorporating archival materials and field photographs to build designs that carry texture, history, and use. Sunbows Creative is where institutional work and experimental practice meet. Whether I’m building a brand system, designing a digital interface, or creating a zine, the throughline is the same: design as storytelling, and storytelling as a way of making meaning accessible without simplifying it.
